Simplified Modelling of a Self- Energising Hydraulic Brake

چکیده

The unique concept of the Self-energising Electro-Hydraulic Brake (SEHB) uses the vehicles kinetic energy as independent brake booster by the principle of self-energisation. This paper presents a new approach for controller synthesis of SEHB using the method of input-output linearisation on basis of a complexity reduced model. Once the control design is achieved, the developed controller is verified in a non-linear system simulation of the brake model. Thereby, controller parameters are optimised by application of an integral quality criterion. Furthermore, system parameter perturbations are considered with respect to brake dynamics. An outlook for improvement of system performance by means of valve development is given.
